Can sex provoke heacaches?
Physical effort, including sex, can provoke headaches’, says Dr. Buse. The exact reason for this is not yet entirely clear, but it probably also has to do with a chemical change in the brain. It is also possible that the attack has already started slightly, making your nervous system more sensitive,’ Buse thinks.
As we said, routine is a must for migraineurs. Skipping a meal or fasting can therefore lead to an attack. We don’t know exactly why, but it can have to do with low glucose levels,’ says Dr. Silberstein. In any case, it is important to eat as regularly as possible to prevent migraine.
